old books
AnewMessage.Com is the publishing point for a number of editions of this series of essays first written in 1976 for the celebration of the Bicentennial of the United States of America. They have become more relevant as the decades have passed.

But first. it is imperative to note that the most fundamental foundation of civilized society is that the people are civil. Written law has no inherent power. It is just ink and paper. It is only our allegiance to law that empowers it. If we are to be a happy people and secure in our persons and property, we must first and foremost be civil, or in other words self-disciplined, honest, industrious and loyal to family, country and God. It is time to teach this to ourselves and our children.
